1930s Propaganda
The unintentional comedy rating on these propaganda films is through the roof. The first one is from a movie called Reefer Madness, an anti-marijuana propaganda film. Apparently, telling the truth about marijuana, that it kills brain cells, demotivates, and leads to living in your parents’ basement playing video games until your 44 wasn’t good enough for 1930s’ film makers. The second clip is a propaganda clip showing just how wonderful it is to be a common laborer in one of the 1930s elegant factories.

Ever wondered what you’d do without TV, cable, Internet, cell phones, iPods and other modern devices? That’s one more depressing thing about the Great Depression.
