The Dust Bowl
The Dust Bowl devastated farming in the Midwest. The first clip shows “Dust Bowl Blues” by Woody Guthrie with video designed to make you cry. The clip in the middle shows images from the Dust Bowl with a really sappy song containing overly sentimental lyrics that, I suppose, is supposed to tug at your heart strings (cliche alert!). The clip on the right gives facts about the Dust Bowl and some really cool images that those affected by the Dust Bowl didn’t think were cool at all.
